3 Best Gaming Keyboards [TL;DR]:
- Editor’s Pick: Corsair K63 Wireless – mechanical keyword with a Cherry MX Switch, has media adjustment features. Wireless capability does not hinder quick button actions.
- G.Skill Ripjaws KM570 – isn’t bulky like most gaming keyboards, but still uses high-end Cherry MX switches for mechanical keyboards
- Razer Cynosa Chroma – slick design, and performs really well despite not being a mechanical keyboard
One of the most important things out of all the gaming peripherals out there is a proper gaming keyboard. It’s the butter to your mouse’s bread. It’s the icing to your mouse’s cake.
It’s the only thing you can use when you want to talk back to those 9-year olds trying to say “Vovo ka!” in game because they don’t know how to turn off chat filters.
Then again, there are a lot of keyboards out there, and by that we mean a LOT. We can’t stress that out enough. Some are good, some are “meh.” And yet some are really expensive but still perform like a “meh” one.
So we would like to spare you the gruesome dig and hand you what feel are the three best gaming keyboards out there, that are available (and affordable) to the Filipino market.
Razer Cynosa Chroma
A 10-key rollover makes it that you won’t suffer from lack of control even if you are spamming your WASD all at the same time. It might not tick-and-tack from a click like most mech keyboards, but the 1ms polling rate is not something you would scoff at.
Definitely one of the better membrane gaming keyboards out on the market.
G.Skill Ripjaws KM570
Price range: from P8,700 – P13,000
That’s where the G.Skill Ripjaws KM570 comes in. It looks and feels like one of the old ones.
But don’t let the looks deceive you, this baby is actually a mechanical keyboard that boasts of the best switches out there, the Cherry MX Brown.
Everything you will need to do when on a game will feel crisp and smooth, even though what you are holding looks like something from the early 2000s. Oh, and it’s quite cheap for a mechanical keyboard too, so definitely check this out!
Corsair K63 Wireless
Price: Starts at P3,500
Wireless gaming keyboards aren’t too popular. Wireless gaming mice, sure, but for keyboards? Nah. We would want that solid feel and an impeccable reaction time when talking trash to the enemy team. But Corsair has done it again.
Transferring the power of the wired K63 keyboards into the wireless one, Corsair made sure not to sacrifice too much, especially in terms of speed.
To make sure gamers still feel every click of movement they are doing, the Corsair K63 Wireless is fit with Cherry MX Red switches.
This keyboard also has media controls, so you won’t need to go out of your way to adjust sound or do video playbacks or other media related stuff. If you are fond of lying around in weird positions while gaming, this is a worthy pickup.
And again, it’s cheap compared to most gaming keyboards out there too!
With that said, we would like to know your preferences in keyboards! Do you care about switches? Do you like it when keyboards light up?
Do you love it when you can faceroll in a keyboard and it still lets you type whatever letters or characters your face rolled in to? Do let us know in the comments section down below!
